Cronulla beach to ensure the safety and well being of visitors to our beach. |

Patrols at North Cronulla Each year between the months of September to the end of April, North Cronulla SLSC provides patrols on weekends and public holidays. This year at North Cronulla we had 12 active patrols comprising over 150 active patrol members. Last season our dedicated lifesavers were responsible for 2,728 preventative actions, they performed 148 rescues and treated 259 first aid cases. All of these actions are indicative of the hard work put in by our patrol members to ensure that “No Lives were Lost” on North Cronulla beach. Our patrol members are highly trained and with the many courses on offer from our Education section are continually updating their skills with the latest in rescue techniques to hone the skills necessary for the early detection and prevention of incidents before they escalate into something more serious.
Why become a Lifesaver at North Cronulla? North Cronulla SLSC has fantastic facilities for its members. The “Harry Brown Gymnasium” has state of the art equipment with windows facing the beach so you can enjoy the views while working out. The Perryman pool is a 25 metre – 6 lane pool available for members use and change rooms with hot showers you can use any time you are at the beach. There are social events throughout the season where you can have the opportunity of meeting people from all walks of life who share a common interest in surf lifesaving and the North Cronulla club. There are many areas of competition that you can join and have access to coaches who are highly trained and very dedicated, please take a look at the competition section of our website for more details.
